2016 saw populist revolts against political establishments all over the world. For the United States, of course, that came in the form of President Donald Trump’s election. In the United Kingdom, this came with the Brexit vote as a majority of Britons approved a proposal to take their country out of the European Union.
Two years later, the United Kingdom is still part of the EU. And when all is said and done, the people in charge of seeing it through will make it so that the U.K. was actually better off remaining in the oppressive trade bloc. This is thanks to Prime Minister Theresa May’s utterly lax negotiating skills. The way things stand now, the U.K. will remain under the auspices of bureaucrats in Brussels, but will lack any representation. This will effectively turn Britain into a vassal state.
Not surprisingly, the U.K.’s Conservative Party has long been at odds with its leader. Now, with MP Jacob Reese Moog calling for a vote of no confidence in Theresa May, it seems the Tories have finally had enough. While Moog hasn’t put his own hat into the ring, he is without a doubt leading a movement to install a more Leave-friendly government on Downing Street.

GB’s position as a world power began to end when we the people broke away from them over 200 years ago.
