A recently released Harvard/Harris poll relayed some likely discouraging news for those on the left. According to the poll, the majority of Americans are ready for the Democrats to move on from the Mueller findings and accept the outcome. The poll also noted that most Americans believed the investigation itself was only completed due to bias on the left’s part.
Apparently, public opinion only matters to Democrats when it’s convenient for them.
At least two-thirds of Americans are not in favor of impeachment attempts against President Donald Trump. In fact, Americans are sick of hearing about impeachment, and aren’t interested in them coming to fruition.
The vast majority of Americans are not supportive of pursuing impeachment of President Trump. However, surely, the vast majority of those on the left politically still want to see the President removed from office though, right? Wrong. According to the recent poll numbers, some 56% of Democrats support impeachment. Although this is more than half of the Democrats polled, this is far from the vast majority that would be expected. Mark Penn, the polling director of Harvard CAPS/Harris said the following about the findings:
“It seems impeachment is over as a real threat to the Trump presidency, though the base of the Democratic Party remains energized on the issue. Overall though, the voters want Democrats to get back to issues over investigations and they may pay a price for not listening to them.”
According to a RedState article, Democrats would be wise to see the handwriting on the wall and stop trying to convince the nation that Trump is a criminal.
According to the poll findings, impeachment isn’t very popular, nor is more focus being placed on the Mueller findings. However, what about the right’s views? Are they anxious to have anything investigated? Turns out they are. Some have called it a need to “investigate the investigators” — at the very least to look at some of the evidence that points to President Trump being the victim of various wrongdoings, not the instigator. Attorney General William Barr recently stated that he does believe that the 2016 Trump presidential campaign was spied on, and wants to conduct a thorough review of all available information.
“I am going to be reviewing both the genesis and the conduct of intelligence activities directed at the Trump campaign during 2016,” he said. “A lot of this has already been investigated and a substantial portion that’s being investigated is being investigated by the Office of the Inspector General of department.”
Senators Lindsey Graham and Rand Paul have blocked resolutions to make the Mueller findings public, until and unless communications between the Clinton campaign and Obama administration are also made public. As might be expected, Democrats are not allowing this to happen. It is obvious many on the right understand the investigation was dubious at least in motivation and there are real crimes that should be considered, though not on Trump’s part.
The latest polling numbers are basically communicating the fact that Americas are ready for the investigations to be over. They are tired of hearing about the Mueller report, they don’t see evidence of Russian collusion as it relates to Trump’s presidency, and so they are tired of hearing about how Russia had a hand in his victory. They are also tired of hearing about Trump being impeached.
If there is an investigation the polls indicate Americans are okay with, it’s not one looking at Trump as the culprit or criminal but as the victim. They seem okay with an investigation into the lawless actions of those spying on the Trump campaign. However, as it relates to impeachment of the current President, those polled seem to be communicating one message: move on!

Mueller specifically states there was no collusion between Russia and Trump. The report also states no credible evidence was found about obstruction of justice either. A investigation started based on a lie that is the Trump dossier was never mentioned in Mueller’s report. You do not have be a lawyer or have a law degree to know that anyone accused of any crime in the US is innocent until proven guilty: not the other way around. The fact that no credible evidence was found to prove Trump obstructed justice proves President Trump innocent by default. It is like going to traffic court and the cop not showing up. You win by default. As far as Trump obstructing justice is concerned he can not be guilty unless the Democrats assumed Trump was guilty and has to prove himself innocent. No proof of any crime was found anyway. The crimes have spent nearly 3 years wasting taxpayers money on a useless witch hunt that found nothing. In the days of the Salem witchcraft trials anybody could all anybody a witch no matter not and the accused would be burned in the town square. This means that even if somebody rubbed you the wrong way on any occasion, you could call that person a witch and, that person would be put through a mock trial and then burned in front of everyone. Then they accuse AG William Barr as being corrupt and lying, like the Democrats have done for over two years, to protect President Trump, by hiding the evidence that they seek to prove their lies, just because AG William Barr is obeying the law in handling the Mueller report, that has highly secured information that the law requires to be redacted and not allowed out for the public’s purview, that also includes members of the US Congress.
