Democrats could say “up is down” or “the sky is plaid” and the fake news media would back the narrative. That’s largely because Americans no longer live in a world of fact-based reporting. We are bombarded with phony “narratives” that often have no truth behind them, and the Post Office conspiracy theory is just the latest example.
Democrats’ recent “Save the Post Office” hoax ranks among the silliest propaganda to date. But the Washington elites and their co-conspirators in the media have a powerful reason for pushing the Post Office narrative. They are banking on cheat-by-mail schemes to win the November elections.
“It was clear to me that his goal was to dismantle the post office brick by brick, that the concerns of — especially during COVID when you need the post office more than ever — elderly people can’t go to the pharmacy. They depend on the mail for their medicines,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said on CNN. “Today, I’ll be on Long Island talking about the veterans. Our veterans get 80-90 percent of their stuff, the drugs, through the mail. And to have these delayed, all these special things delayed, and at the same time to sort of try to make the post office dysfunction, so the elections will be dysfunctional that’s despicable.”
Schumer’s scare tactics are meant to cover up the facts about why Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has been making changes to the USPS. Last year, President Donald Trump increased the postal service’s budget and it still ended the fiscal year $8.8 billion in debt. DeJoy was instituting cost-effective changes such as postal workers starting delivery routes on time and decommissioning redundant mailboxes.
President Donald Trump has applauded DeJoy’s efforts, calling him a “very good business guy” for implementing a fiscally responsible strategy. His efforts to end wasteful spending have been twisted into a phony narrative that he intends to derail any mail-in votes. The facts are that his changes could result in some letters and packages arriving one day later. The sky would not exactly be falling or plaid.
CNN — widely considered the leader in fake news — provided Schumer an open forum to mislead everyday people. One obvious reason is that polling data indicates that Americans who support President Trump (66 percent) are far more inclined to vote in person. Of Democrats likely to vote for Joe Biden, only 26 percent are inclined to get off the couch on election day. That’s one of the incentives to secure mail-in voting.
Democrats such as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi claim that the president is trying to “sabotage the election” and “disenfranchise voters.” She recently demanded the House Oversight and Reform Committee push through a bill that would prevent DeJoy from making changes to end the waste of taxpayer dollars.
“The Democrats’ wild and baseless conspiracy theory about the United States Postal Service is irresponsible and only undermines the American people’s faith in the integrity of the election and our institutions,” Oversight Committee Republican Rep. James Comer reportedly said.
Democrats also hope to increase the ability to sway elections in their favor by leveraging cheat-by-mail schemes. In a recent Michigan primary, more than 800 ballots were disqualified. The “voters” were dead.
Anything a desperate democrat might add to this topic could be humorous if they knew which side of the stamp to lick.

I forgot to add that we would be better off is the post office was privately run. It is one of the most poorly ran business I have ever seen. When they tell you you need to send your bills 7 to 10 days before they are due to make sure they get there in time and if they still don’t get there in time you are charged for late payments and your credit score goes down. I say these things because I have 3 degrees in finance and business. I worked as a controller for an company that has plants all over the world. if a company is not efficient they lose and the post office is anything but efficient.
