Everyone on the left is hyped because the Colorado trial to keep President Trump off the 2024 ballot is under way this week. This isn’t ultimately going to go anywhere, but it is a nice example of the DC uniparty working hand-in-hand to reject the greatest threat to the status quo that they’ve ever seen.
Donald Trump is not fighting for his survival right now. The corrupt DC apparatus and the Deep State are fighting for theirs. Trump was too soft and fuzzy with his enemies during his first term in office. That’s not going to happen when we send him back to the White House in 2024. Not after this.
This Colorado case features multiple violations of Donald Trump’s Fifth Amendment rights, which we’ll get to in a moment. In the meantime, all of Trump’s Republican primary opponents are just embarrassing themselves at this point. Montana Sen. Steve Daines publicly announced a couple of days ago that they should all just drop out and coalesce behind Donald Trump at this point. He’s right.
If they’re not going to drop out, you’d think they could at least speak out against what’s happening to Donald Trump right now. Instead, we haven’t heard a word about this Colorado case from Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley, who are tied for a distant second place. They’re both campaigning on promises to “fight the Deep State” and cut back on the bureaucracy and yadda-yadda-yadda.
If that’s true, why won’t either one of them speak out against Trump being railroaded in this Colorado case?
Keeping Trump off the ballot in the general election won’t make any difference. Colorado is a lost cause occupied by a massive influx of Californians who have moved there. Trump was never going to win Colorado in November of 2024. What this move does—assuming they would even be successful in kicking him off the ballot—is help set up the possibility of a brokered GOP convention, in which another candidate could ultimately emerge as the nominee.
In other words, Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis are working hand-in-glove with the Democrat Party and the DC establishment to try to stop Donald Trump.
Fortunately for Donald Trump, his enemies are incredibly weak and embarrassing and dumb!
This Colorado case seeks to keep Trump off the ballot on the grounds that he incited an insurrection against the US government on January 6th. As you probably remember, Donald Trump was acquitted of fomenting an insurrection during the second impeachment hoax in the US Senate. He was found not guilty.
That means that this Colorado case is a clear-cut example of double jeopardy under the Fifth Amendment. You can’t keep putting someone on trial over and over again for the same alleged crime after they’ve been found “Not guilty.”
Trump is also entitled to a “fair trial” under the Fifth Amendment. The judge overseeing the trial is a Joe Biden appointee, so you can see where that’s going.
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who served on the Liz Cheney January 6 Committee, is the star witness for the plaintiffs trying to keep Trump off the ballot. (We told you Trump has the best enemies!)
Swalwell is a man whose judgement is so impaired that he wrecked his first marriage by having sex with an obvious Chinese spy. Swalwell’s best friend is an accused transgender child molester from New Hampshire who calls himself “Stacie” Laughton. Eric “Mr. Credibility” Swalwell was on the stand yesterday.
Meanwhile, Trump’s defense team has indicated that they plan to call Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) as their first witness in the trial. Nehls says he’s honored to do so. Rep. Nehls is a former sheriff and an Army Reservist who deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan during the GWOT. Therefore, he’s probably slightly more credible than Eric Swalwell.
What a lot of people don’t know is that Rep. Nehls, who had only been in Congress for a whole three days when January 6th happened, did not run away from protesters. He went and greeted them at the door and chatted with them and urged them to go back outside before they got in trouble. Nobody’s life was in danger on January 6th. There was no “insurrection.” Nehls chatted with the peaceful protesters.
On top of all this, the Supreme Court has already ruled on this issue. They threw out a case on October 9th that was brought against Trump for the exact same reason (fake insurrection) in Florida. The High Court has indicated that this is clearly a case of Double Jeopardy against Donald Trump.
Therefore, this Colorado case is nothing to get worked up about. It’s much ado about nothing.
I admire Trump for his courage, persistence, and thick skin. His adversaries should be aware that there is only one law in this universe. ” What you sow is what reap” in other words” What you dish out is what you get back, sometimes many fold. DT has my vote, I like De Santis but for the absolute best of this country I think that we need the expertise and experience of D. Trump.

These fools need to read the constitution before wasting taxpayers money. First of all President Trump has not been convicted of an insurrection. What happened on J6 was the doings of Pelosi and Millie not President Trump. The constitution doesn’t state the President of the United States. This is nothing more than another witch hunt. Biden wants only his name on ballots just like in 2020. Harris wasn’t even on those ballots that were illegal ballots. My guess is all your machines in Colorado just like in California, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia and New York and others are already rigged for Biden once again. I also agree, why aren’t they trying to stick up for Trump, I mean, the amendment is for all of us!
