It is obvious to most everyone by now that the media takes every opportunity it can to attack President Trump. He is blamed for large things and small on an ongoing basis. So what has the media found this time as the reason to attack Trump? A hurricane.
Yes, as the gigantic and dangerous Hurricane Florence barreled toward the Carolinas and that entire region of the country, the media falsely claimed that Trump was not responding appropriately and adequately.
Before Florence had made landfall near Wilmington, North Carolina and before the weather had deteriorated much, many in the media were claiming that Trump did not know how to adequately respond to the emergency. But the emergency hadn’t even started yet. They also accused him of not caring enough.
Take, for example, this ridiculous headline from Politico:
“Trump Struggles to Embrace Consoler-in-Chief Role”
Never mind the fact that Trump himself filmed a video and posted it online days before Hurricane Florence made landfall, and in that video he urged residents in the potential area of hurricance destruction to heed evacuation orders and stay safe. In the video he expressed genuine care and concern for the safety of his fellow Americans.
Obviously, this wasn’t enough to satisfy the president’s opponents in the media…
The media not only hates Trump in general, and therefore constantly looking at ways they can criticize him, but they also specifically believe that he didn’t respond adequately to previous recent disasters during Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area and Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. The media is wrong, and yet again distorting the facts in both instances.
The media also criticized Trump just recently for his demeanor at a September 11 commemoration in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where he gave a meaningful and moving speech. That was the location where a plane crashed on September 11, 2001 after being hijacked by terrorists. Instead of focusing on Trump’s speech and on the real significance of the day, many in the media went viral with a tiny clip from the day — a photo of Trump giving someone a fist bump. Trump was likely just being friendly, not inappropriate.
But that was taken completely out of context, in a similar way that a clip from a video of Brett Kavanaugh, Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court, was recently taken completely out of context by California Senator Kamala Harris (Democrat) and Planned Parenthood.
We can expect more of this nonsense from much of the media as time goes on, and it’s a good thing that Trump has such thick skin and can let the constant attacks roll off.
Meanwhile, let’s just hope and pray that Americans do not suffer too severely from the effects of Hurricane Florence. Americans should be pulling together, not tearing each other down, especially during disasters.

One thing is certain. These arrogant snots will meet karma for their arrogance. I also just saw a post for a “Save Mueller” petition. The only saving I want is at the end of a rope and that is to save us from his petty lies.

Do not understand the sentence above in the previous comment. But I wonder why the law against hatred is not used. Every Sheriff Department advertises itself that they take the law against hatred seriously and the entire country does not take it seriously. Need to stop those democrats that spreading out hatred, because they want a civil war. They should be charged and put in prison for enforcing hatred against the President and not letting him to concentrate on his job. Where people have been when country was led by criminals before???
