There isn’t much the mainstream media won’t blame on President Donald Trump. The latest, outrageous accusation comes on the heels of a tragic shooting in New Zealand which ended in the death of over 40 people.
How in the world could America’s president be blamed for an abominable attack on innocent Muslims who were worshiping in mosques across the wold? Well, apparently, he’s “moral accomplice.”
Last week, a 28-year-old Australian man opened fire in a New Zealand mosque in Christchurch, killing over 40 men, women and even children. He then proceeded to drive another three miles to a separate mosque to massacre seven more worshipers. Dozens more remain injured. Therefore, the death toll could rise even more.
Along with the horrid nature of his actions, the man also filmed himself committing the crimes on his cell phone camera via livestream. Therefore, the world could watch as he used a semi-automatic weapon to mow down the innocent people. His goal was frighteningly to kill as many Muslim worshippers as he could.
Even for the left, this accusation is a bit far-fetched. However, they claim Donald Trump was at least partially at fault because of his use of the word “invasion” to describe illegal border crossings into western-style republics. President Trump at one time referred to the 76,000 migrants who were caught illegally trying to cross the U.S. borders an “invasion.” Apparently, the killer who took the lives of innocent Muslim worshipers used the same descriptive. The killer also mentioned President Trump in his 74-page manifesto.
Although President Trump was “implicated” for a one-word choice he made to describe a situation months ago, he was also accused of being a moral accomplish simply for not saying enough. President Trump didn’t express America’s revulsion or his country’s condolences to those of the Muslim faith, nor did he specifically denounce the “white nationalist” ideology that was behind this killer’s rampage.
Although no one should excuse or condone the atrocities that took place in New Zealand, to say they are motivated in any way or form by the President of the United States is sheer lunacy. The killer alone was responsible for what he did that day. Not Donald Trump. It is barbarity that should not be condoned or excused, no matter his twisted motivation. As an American Conservative article expresses, the incident “was an atrocity and act of purse evil by a man with a dead soul.”
If there is anything predictable about the type of crime committed in New Zealand, is that it’s unpredictable. There doesn’t seem to be a certain people group “always” responsible, nor is there is a method “always” employed. Soldiers, young people, older people, Muslim, alt-right, neo-Nazi, rich, poor, well-educated or uneducated, have all been involved in attacks against other people or groups. Some of the “reasoning” behind these attacks had to do with differences in race and/or religion, some others seem to be random acts of violence where a person just broke mentally and lashed out at whoever happened to be nearby. The only common denominator does seem to the be mental illness. However, to blame the sitting president of the United States for the actions of an obviously mentally unstable Australian is simply preposterous.
Unsurprisingly, the president himself found out he was being associated or loosely blamed for what happened in New Zealand by the left, and took the opportunity to defend himself.
“The Fake News Media is working overtime to blame me for the horrible attack in New Zealand,” Trump tweeted. “They will have to work very hard to prove that one. So ridiculous!”

New Zealand is to blame for the attack. They dishonor their own people over Muslims. Has nothing to do with President Trump. They listen to disgraceful Obama that is out to destroy America and humanity. These leaders of other countries fell for stupidity and lies. Muslims want to destroy all Christians and decency. We have the ANTIFA, BLM, K K K, all under Obama’s watch. Yes, the K K K was founded by Democrats and is STILL run by Democrats. All a person needs to do is a simple google search and look this stuff up. H*ll, the BLM murdered 5 Dallas police officers under Obama. Where was the outrage from the media? The Ferguson riots took place under Obama’s watch, where was the outrage from the media and the finger pointing at Obama? The main stream conspiracy news media are dangerous and need to be shut down.

Do not denigrate the leader and people of New Zealand. They have not “blamed Trump”. Rather, they have demonstrated a praiseworthy response – leadership and empathetic unity in the face of tragedy which shines brightly on the world stage. If that serves to draw a comparison with the perceived lack of leadership and empathy shown by others, that is not New Zealand’s fault. Atrocities, whether committed against Muslims, Christians or others, should be equally condemned by the media and all world leaders.
It is not New Zealand that is blaming Trump. It is US media. Rszad it properly before sounding off with ignorant comments.
As long as the right refuses to break the left’s stranglehold on the media, this rhetoric will continue to escalate!
