Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is moving to fully reopen his state, casting aside doubts raised by lockdown-obsessed Democrats.
Those who have been following the news surrounding the pandemic will know that the efforts to guard against the disease have been riddled with grossly inflated death counts, overly restrictive lockdown measures, and a hefty dose of leftist social authoritarianism.
Among the most startling stories to come out of this massively exaggerated health problem came to us from the state of Florida. A few weeks ago, we reported on the fact that hospitals and other health clinics were caught with their pants down as they inflated their Coronavirus infection rates and death rates by a huge margin. Some clinics went so far as to claim that every single person they tested for the virus came up positive.
It would be highly statistically unlikely that 100% of tests for the common cold virus came up positive, let alone for a disease that has infected hundreds of millions and killed only tens of thousands globally, at least according to Johns Hopkins.
But there’s good news. Any time the political climate gets too skewed so far to one side that no one can deny it, many times you get a strong public reversal. That’s exactly what’s going on in Florida right now. The people there have had enough of the excessive lockdowns and the insane lies about the death and infection rates. Now, the state governor, Ron DeSantis has had enough as well.
DeSantis is now lifting restrictions on restaurants and a host of other businesses. Last week, he made it clear that he intended to set up roadblocks for leaders and officials who wanted to impose further restrictions on commerce and on people’s ability to move freely. He has instituted a ban on any and all pandemic related monetary penalties, making it impossible for cities and counties to set up or enforce mask mandates.
In a public statement on the move, DeSantis said, “The order that I will be signing today will make certain that restaurants can operate, and I will not allow any further closures.”
Cases of the virus have reportedly dropped sharply since June when thousands of hospitals and health clinics were caught padding their death rates and positive case counts. However, they are still reporting an average of 700 deaths a week… half of which are traffic casualties…
DeSantis said that he was aware that there may be a second wave on its way this coming Fall and Winter. But he said that it is important to give businesses the ability to predict where their profit margins will be over the next several months. He commented that businesses operate under pressure from a wide range of unknown factors, especially restaurants, and that to impose further unknowns makes doing business impossible.
He said, “We’re prepared if we see an increase. We’re not closing anything going forward.”
It’s worth noting that millions of people have lost their homes due to lockdowns across the country. Suicides have gone up as a result of the restrictions, and the casualties of this unprecedented hit to our economy far outweigh the actual deaths caused by the virus.

So happy that Governor DeSantis has taken the initiative to fully open our state. People care very happy and it was long overdue. I hope more states follow. He is allowing people to make their own decisions about going out. We cannot live in a bubble and not let our immune systems work. The masks don’t work. The numbers were and are falsely reported. Finally….I am so happy to see SOMEONE finally putting their foot down and saying its time to face this thing.
We are going to lose lives, it is inevitable. We treat the flu almost casually with the expectation that some people die from it and hardly any fuss is made about it. This pandemic will run its course, we will have some deaths from it (subtracting the false numbers) and eventually we will have a vaccine for it or develop antibodies for it. But until then, we cannot continue to live in fear of it (or the propaganda about it) and need to get on with our lives.
Thank you governor DeSantis we really appreciate your opening up our state and now our small businesses can start operating on a full scale so they can get back to somewhat normal anyway

Too many states are still under lockdown conditions—for what? A group of money-hungry, power-greedy,
insane Governors who want to ruin the country and cost honest, hardworking people their homes, businesses,
retirements, and families. Everyone everywhere should be done with this.
Finally some common sense prevails. Many people have already had the damn virus and recovered, myself included, before January was done. If the WHO had been better at getting information on the virus and China not sent infected people across the globe on purpose, we wouldn’t have had this pandemic.
Americans are tired of being messed with by liberal nonsense that cheapens our way of life. Amazing how many of these test kits are showing more false positive results the closer it gets to election. Dems have cried wolf too many times and only the gullible are falling for it. Open up and get on with our lives.
We love our governor ! He and our President acknowledge that Americans are smart enough once given the facts to make decisions for themselves. Each of us make a multitude of risk assessments and decisions for personal and community safety every day of our lives. What made sense during the first days of this pandemic has changed as the virus has been studied over time. Given the real facts, not the lefts purposely hyperinflated numbers, Floridians are ready to move forward realizing that destroying America can never be the cure any Patriot would choose to protect themselves, especially when the narrative presented is exposed as largely hyped.
I called and emailed the governors office to let him know how glad I was that he took this step. He is very brave to go against the tide in my opinion. There have been so many lies about this “pandemic” from the get go. It is clearly an agenda. If not, there wouldn’t need to be so much deception. I hate that so many people are fearful of this invisible overblown boogeyman. I pray for their eyes to be opened about this and to many other underlying agendas for total control of the populace

you are absolutely correct, I want to thank every voter who voted for DeSantis in the last elections, if that left wing liberal of Andrew Gilliam would have been elected, we would all be lock up in our houses, like Joe Biden running a Presidential campaign from his basement. Look at all these liberal states with a liberal governor, their economy is in shambles. Remember this registered voters at the time of voting, if you vote for Biden, this is what we are all going to get.
The Democrats are trying to fool all the people, all the time. It just won’t fly. They’ve ignored the voice of the people and insist on shoving a form of dictatorship on us. You nwill probably catch hell for what you are doing, but let me assure you it’s not just the Florida people who appreciate what you are doing., but people all over the country are. In Arizona, we are OPEN. Everything is open and even though many businesses ask you to wear masks, many and I mean MANY PEOPLE ARE NOT WEARING MASKS ANY MORE!
IN FACT, while we waited to go into Trader Joe’s in a line outside, a woman with her young child in her basket said, “This is ridiculous!” I agreed.Neither of us had a mask on but had it under our chins. The people behind us waiting, were shaking their heads “Yes” and agreeing about “NO MASKS” and WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO COME OUT BEFORE WE COULD GO IN!
Once inside both that woman and my husband and I slipped our masks down under our chins to do our shopping. When done at the cash register, another woman approached me and whispered to me, “I know who you are voting for, and I know who you are not voting for! We are done with these ridiculous demands!” and she walked away. I said loudly, “Yes! We are done with this mess!”
Being an asthmatic and being forced to wear those nasty Masks has made my breathing very laboured, so much so I have had to remove the mask just to breathe. I carry my inhaler everywhere I go to use when some idiot insists I MUST where a mask. THIS FIASCO NEEDSTO END!
The numbers to this “Inflated Flu” were reported erroneously by hospitals and medical centers so they could get government funding. Sad but true. We citizens have been jerked around because of the almighty dollar, NOT Covid deaths. It’s time to STOP THIS INSANITY!!!

If democrats gain control be prepared to stay at home until the government says you can leave your home. Even then you will be told where you can go, what you can do and how long you can stay out. I am very thankful for Florida and other states who have made this move it is the right one.I have tested positive for the cold myself and that is all it is. I am so happy for the restored liberty of Florida! While I live in Wisconsin it gives me peace to see our nation making a turn back to what we are! I pray it continues in waves across our land!

There are going to be a lot of disappointed people in this country if the world don’t come to an end in Florida and most of the people die because of what the Governor has done.
This has been the worst thing that has happened to this country in history, and I’m not talking about the virus, either. I am talking about the way the politicians have handled this so called pandemic. What they have done to the people and this country has been worse than anything the virus could have done. Businesses are closed and will never re-open. Children are not getting the schooling they need. People are not receiving the healthcare they need. Murders are up, suicides are up. People are being harassed on the streets and businesses,There is rioting, looting, burning property and injuring people and these politicians are condoning it instead of trying to stop it. This is a country of laws, and if the laws are not enforced, they are worthless.
People like Governor DeSantis are few and far between anymore. Most politicians number one agenda is to do whatever it takes to get re-elected. Nothing else matters. We need to get rid of them, if we don’t it will only get worse.

I REGRET now not living in Florida. You Floridians are very, very fortunate to have a governor there running your state. I live in Monterey,CA. As you know, we’ve got a tyrannical dictator who is actually related to the Pelosi woman, and we’re probably not going to open up until AFTER the general election…… which by the way, Gavin sent me my mail-in ballot just the other day. Thanks Gavvy baby, I’m reluctant to fill it out though as I’d much rather vote in person just like always (before) did. He also wants to give illegals free health care and social security monies.
