GOP, Dems Pick Different Sides on Law Enforcement Support

Following the breakdown break down in basic civility surrounding the confirmation hearing of now-U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the two major political parties have never been more at odds. Perhaps the starkest contrast between Democrats and Republicans heading into the mid-terms is their attitudes toward the men and women in American law enforcement.

Led by the unwavering support of Pres. Donald J. Trump, members of the GOP are in total support of those who work in law enforcement. Democrats appear to view those who comprise the “thin blue line” as their enemy.

Democrats Call Law Enforcement “Racist”

Top Democrats vying to run for president in 2020 have been testing out their rhetoric with left-wing voters. These days, they are trying to regain favor with white, working-class Americans despite voting against every piece of legislation that led to the current economic resurgence.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren has been trying to make the case that she is now worthy of your vote because liberal “identity politics” are somehow inclusive. Despite routinely calling white Americans privileged and racist, Sen. Warren has identified a new enemy she hopes voters can get behind, law enforcement and the judicial system.

“The pundits will say it’s impossible for us to build a coalition that cuts across issues and communities – that Democrats have to choose between being the party of the white working class and the party of Black Lives Matter,” Sen. Warren reportedly said. “Let’s just start with the hard truth about our criminal justice system — it’s racist.”

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions took Sen. Warren to task over her divisive remarks. The attorney general called her remarks “a slander of every law officer and every prosecutor in America. And, frankly, I think it is an insult to their families and to the crime victims they have helped to face their attacker.”

Her remarks were reportedly made at historically African-American Dillard University. Joining Warren at the university were senators Kamala Harris and Cory “I am Spartacus” Booker. They peppered the audience with race-baiting rhetoric geared to pit white and black American against each other.

Sen. Harris has repeatedly pre-judged police officers as guilty when deadly force was used. In a back-handed slap at police, she pushed for retraining 2,000 California officers due to what she called “implicit bias.”

“When your bias is coupled with the fact that you carry a gun, it is something that has to be a priority for us,” she reportedly said.

She has been criticized by political pundits for playing word games over race. She has been called out for swapping the term “racist” for “implicit bias” when talking about law enforcement officials. One can only say of Harris’ rhetoric that “a rose by any other name…” There’s no getting around the fact that she’s still calling the men and women who risk their lives to keep citizens safe “racists.”

Pres. Trump Seeks Death Penalty for Murder of Police Officers

Republican have historically been the party of law and order. Pres. Trump ran on strong policies of reining in criminal enterprises, enforcing existing immigration laws and backing the men and women who keep American streets safe. From the campaign trail to this day, the president has consistently pledged his full support to the thin blue line.

Recently, Pres. Trump has been pressing Congress to enhance penalties for criminals that harm police officers in the line of duty.

“Reducing crime begins with respecting law enforcement,” Pres. Trump reportedly said. “We believe that criminals who kill our police officers should immediately, with trial, but rapidly as possible, not 15 years later, 20 years later — get the death penalty.”

To date, more than 40 police officers have been killed in the line of duty in 2018. That number is expected to exceed the 45 gun-related officer deaths in 2017. In recent remarks, the Republican president backed police officers in Chicago who were hamstrung by the Obama Administration and Democrat-held city politicians.

“The (Chicago) crime spree is a terrible blight on that city, and we’ll do everything possible to get it done,” Pres. Trump reportedly said. “Law enforcement people in Chicago … they would solve the problem if they were simply allowed to do their job and do their job properly.”

  1. The dems are so against law enforcement, because EVERYONE of them are in deep do-do because of their own illegal activities, and they are actually the ones who are and are still pushing the crap about racism!!!!!

    1. Why dont police just walk off the job for a week and see how fast these insolent fools attitudes change

  2. Democrats are today mostly Criminals ,Muslim terrorists,Women beaters, liars, thieves so no wonder they HATE police.Question: Would any cop vote for this Crime Syndicate?I am not a cop but the Democrats have put me off to NEVER EVER vote for a Democrat,no matter what and who

    1. The major problem is the unions that lie to the members trying to cover their illegal activities. Most unions endorse the democrat candidate and continue to spread their fear mongering lies.

  3. If a Democrat finds his or her home has been burgled, who do they call? That’s right..Nancy Pelosi or Diane Feinstein.
    C’mon Dems, get real.

  4. Easy to get revenge. Tell the police to say they don’t have manpower to answer call, are presently busy. Even if means fighting the ‘crime’ of having lunch for violent attack of hunger. They’ll quickly change their minds of police when happens often enough. 😉

  5. What do you expect from Elizabeth Warren Cory Booker
and the rest of these Demon-Rat clans. They back BLM
want to get rid of ICE and love MS13 gang members.
Don’t forget sanctuary cities. Just open your eyes and
look around and see the rioting in Portland Oregon the
police just standing there while Portland burns because of the
mayor has the police stand down and mob rule. This reminds me of Roman
times Rome burns and the fiddler plays. Ask yourself this question is these the
leaders that you want to rule America tomorrow. If it is were in big trouble.
Its not what I want. I want LAW AND ORDER NOT ANARCHY.

  6. Harris, Waren and Booker are lunatics but Booker looks like he is deranged. He should be
Put in. mental institution.Vote Democrat if
You want to destroy our country.

  7. I wish President Trump would declair
BLM ,Antifa and the Southern law center domestic terrioist in our country because any
One group that destroys property closes streets and buildings should be thrown in jail.

  8. Police officers were ordinary people, likeyou and I before taking up the occupation they chose. That being the case, police officers are neither better nor are they worse than anyone else, which means, in plain English, that some police officers aren’t worth the matches necessary to set them alight, that being the simple truth.

  9. I am so sick of these so called public servants, thinking they know it all and try to speak for us.” We the people can speak for ourselves! ” I think these three, along with their mob mentality need to stop breathing the same air that normal people breath. They are taking the much needed oxygen from injured policemen and women. If they don’t like the police then the police should just stop protecting them!

  10. The democratic party has become the embodiment of evil. This country, and it’s legal citizens, can’t afford to have them in complete power again, it will be the end of the United States of America!
