President Donald Trump is tired of the biased interviews and debates, and showed his disgust by cutting short an interview with CBS News’ Lesley Stahl of “60 Minutes” on Tuesday, then later threatened to release the unedited interview before its scheduled air date – which he did just a few days later.
After the interview on Tuesday, the president called the interview “biased” and threatened to release the interview before it aired on the network’s Sunday night program.
“I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, PRIOR TO AIRTIME! This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about. Everyone should compare this terrible Electoral Intrusion with the recent interviews of Sleepy Joe Biden!” Trump posted on his social media account.
And as usual, the president kept his word – and the unedited video was posted to his social media account on Thursday for all to see.
And what the American people saw was a 37-minute video that began with a tense exchange over Stahl’s line of questioning, that started with her asking Trump whether he is prepared for tough questions. Trump was – but did tell her to “just be fair.”
But…that is not quite how the interview (or interrogation, really) went. The president spent much of the interview calling out the reporter for being obviously biased and “negative” with her questioning.
Although Trump was respectful during the interview, it was apparent that near the end of the segment, he was getting frustrated with her continued biased questions and asked her why his questions were so much more pressing than those of his Democratic challenger Joe Biden who was recently simply asked what flavor of ice cream he preferred.
As you can see and hear on the video, a staff member off camera can be heard telling Trump that Vice President Pence would soon be ready for a joint interview with him and that they needed to wrap it up. That was good news to Trump, as he said, “Well, I think we have enough. I think we have enough of an interview here. OK? That’s enough. Let’s go, let’s go.” After which he walked off of the show’s set in the White House.
Stahl has since said that President Trump and Vice President Pence were rude to her and the program. “This was not a rally. This was not just a campaign speech to the public. This was supposed to be an interview, and the same with the president,” she told Pence. “And I feel that you both have insulted ‘60 Minutes’ and me by not answering any of our questions and by giving set campaign speeches that we’ve heard both of you give at rallies and not answering our questions.”

So glad the President released this before the actual TV airing. He exploded their narrative of him being rude before they could report it.

There was not one question that wasn’t interrupted by Stahl. Not one.
Trump says, multiple times, that preexisting conditions will not affect people’s ability to get/keep healthcare, but she keeps asking the same question regardless of him answering it time and time again.
Stahl goes on to say that Trump is “attacking”. I saw not one attack. I saw only a defensive stance by Trump. I actually wish he was more aggressive, and not constantly on the defense. Stahl was the one with attacks, not Trump.
This is a disgrace by Stahl. She DID discredit herself. This isn’t journalism. Fire her…

I’m always amazed at the audacity of the press. Is there anything called respect anymore? Trump is the best thing that has happened to the United States in a long time. The media needs to clean up their act and start acting like journalists.

I think 60 minutes has shown how biased they are. They are supposed to be investigative journalists so why aren’t they investigating the Clinton’s and the Biden’s? The short answer is that they are proving how biased they are. I’ve had it with 60 minutes. I will never watch that show or CNN again.
