Is Hillary Clinton STILL Thinking About Running for President in 2020?

Former Secretary of State and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has publicly stated that she has no intention of running for president in 2020. However, there have been some recent signs that she may be changing her mind.

Former Vice-President Joe Biden, the Democratic Party’s current front-runner by a long shot, has had so many gaffe problems over the last couple of weeks that he recently had to inform a crowd of supporters that he is not, in fact, going insane. While most of his supporters don’t seem to care that the former Vice-President supports “truth over facts,” confuses one state with another, and thinks he was still Vice-President in 2018, more problematic gaffes would be hard to overlook.

In such an instance, nearly one out of three Democrat voters would be “up for grabs” and most of them aren’t looking for a progressive liberal such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren or Sen. Bernie Sanders. Hillary Clinton, a savvy politician, is probably realizing that this could be an ideal scenario for her to step into the race.

As it now stands, the former Secretary of State is making her presence known in all the right circles. She recently announced a DNC fundraiser at her Washington, DC mansion, with the cost of a single ticket priced at an outrageous $50,000. She hung out with Democrat Party insiders at her husband Bill’s birthday celebration at the Rothschild’s estate on Martha’s Vineyard. She is working with her daughter Chelsea to write a book at “gutsy women.” Naturally, the book is set to be released in October 2019, right on time for Hillary to go on a book tour across the nation.

All these incidences could be dismissed as coincidental. However, a number of savvy journalists are seriously wondering about Mrs. Clinton’s true intentions.

New York Times political reporter Maggie Haberman recently stated that, after talking to one of Clinton’s confidants, she came away with the impression that the former Secretary of State would run for the presidency yet again. The only question was when she would announce her big decision.

Author and columnist H.A. Goodman has accurately pointed out that Clinton is the only potential Democratic candidate who can raise the hundreds of millions of dollars that will be needed to take on President Trump in next year’s general election. It’s obvious that Hillary Clinton is intent on taking control of the resistance movement by acting as sort of a “mother hen” to anti-Trump activists.

Naturally, it’s impossible to tell right now if the former Secretary of State will actually jump into the Democratic race for the presidency. However, the signs make it clear that she is at least seriously considering the option…again. Given that fact, it’s not hard to see why Mrs. Clinton is continuing to stay in the limelight, network with powerful DNC figures, and making sure the general public doesn’t forget about her.

If former Vice-President Joe Biden steps out of the primary race and her opponents continue to struggle to gain traction, the odds are pretty high that Clinton would mount yet another bid. Winning the general election, however, may be easier said than done. Her supporters may have forgotten about her, but her critics definitely haven’t.
