Former Vice President Joe Biden has finally broken his silence on the sexual assault claim levied against him by former staffer Tara Reade, and the media reaction has been very telling.
Remember, Biden and the Democratic Party were billing themselves as the party of “believe all women” just months before the last round of elections in 2018. Of course, this sentiment reached a peak during the confirmation hearings for now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who was accused of committing sexual assault decades prior during a party when he was in high school.
At that point, it didn’t matter that Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford presented no evidence other than an anecdote. Democrats in Congress and the media told us that we had to take her claims seriously regardless of that fact. Mysteriously, this logic vanished the moment it appeared that Joe Biden would be the one to face off against President Donald Trump in November.
This is why Biden’s treatment by the mainstream media is so important. For weeks, CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the usual suspects refused to even touch the story about him and his former staffer. As anyone could have expected, he has been treated with kid gloves by reporters and pundits every time he has appeared on TV to address the issue — and he still managed to screw it up on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

I wonder why Biden’s wife and family continues to stand by and allow him to make a fool out of himself? Everyone who has eyes or ear’s can see that this man is not do the duties as President of the United States, especially during this time. If they really love him, get him to drop out and to keep his mouth shut.
