Judge to Decide Whether Georgia Will Scrap Dominion Machines for 2024 Election

Election integrity activists have been embroiled in a lawsuit with the State of Georgia since 2017, in which they are attempting to get rid of the state’s use of unsecured voting machines that are hooked up to the internet. That trial finally starts this week, and the plaintiffs are asking a federal judge to scrap all Dominion Voting Systems machines and switch to all paper ballots for the 2024 election. Their argument is that the machines are unconstitutional, and paper ballots are the sole backup plan under Georgia law if the machines are scrapped.

The plaintiffs say these machines are so flawed that they could cost voters their right to cast a vote and have it properly counted. Nearly all in-person voters in Georgia use one of the Dominion Voting Systems touchscreen machines. The machines then print the ballots, along with a summary of how the person voted. The printout also has a QR code on it, which human beings cannot read. That code supposedly is what the machines read which tally your votes.

The problem, obviously, is that if you don’t know what that QR code says, then you don’t know whether your vote was recorded accurately or not. The printout could be telling you one thing in the English summary, and it could be saying the exact opposite in the QR code that a scanner reads.

This lawsuit actually started back in 2017, when it was launched by individual voters and the Coalition for Good Governance. Georgia was using paperless touchscreen machines back then, which didn’t print out anything for the voter to see after they voted. In August of 2019, Judge Totenberg ordered the antiquated machines to be scrapped.

The state scrambled to come up with an alternative for the 2020 election, and they settled on Dominion machines. The plaintiffs then amended their lawsuit to get rid of the Dominion machines, which had long been criticized for their vulnerabilities.

Multiple computer coders and systems engineers have proven that Dominion Voting Systems machines can be hacked. The hackers can alter votes in the system and because of the vulnerabilities in Dominion’s software, no one can come back later and tell whether the vote has been tampered with.

University of Michigan computer scientist Alex Halderman examined one of the Georgia machines after the 2020 and found massive vulnerabilities in it. He issued a lengthy report on his findings. The courts basically placed a gag order on the report so the public cannot see it, because it proved that the 2020 election was not safe and secure.

In response to that secret report, the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) put out an advisory recommending that states quickly move to mitigate the vulnerabilities in the machines.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says that applying the software update to all the Dominion machines in his state would be too cumbersome to do before the 2024 election. He had 18 months’ advance warning from CISA before the 2024 election, and he says it can’t be done.

Another complication that the plaintiffs are arguing is that someone breached the Dominion software and data in January of 2021 and posted it online. That happened in rural Coffee County, GA, and the plaintiffs were the ones who discovered it. (Raffensperger and his fellow clueless election officials didn’t even know it had happened.) Halderman has noted that the fact that the source code was online and viewed or copied by an unknown number of people makes it even more likely that the system is now vulnerable to an attack.

Yet Raffensperger won’t update the software on the machines. It’s as if Raffensperger wants another election to be stolen on his watch. The plaintiffs had tried to subpoena Raffensperger’s testimony in the trial. Judge Totenberg had ordered Raffensperger to come testify. The plaintiffs’ feeling is that the voters in Georgia deserve to hear why Raffensperger refuses to secure these unsecured machines. But Raffensperger sued with the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled that he doesn’t have to testify in the case.

Brad Raffensperger is a RINO who hates Donald Trump with a seething passion. He doesn’t want Trump to have a fair election in Georgia in 2024. The bad news is that even if the plaintiffs prevail in this case, and Georgia is ordered to switch to all paper ballots, Raffensperger will appeal the decision. Since this case is taking so long, that would obviously push a decision back until after the 2024 election.

  1. Make $170 per hour. its very hard to find jobs nowaday. In this situation, you have access to a wealth of resources to help you with your working abilities. Be motivated to wq1 promote Thousands of works such as copy paste things through job boards and career websites on internet .

    Just Take A Look At This………………… https://smartlinks23.blogspot.com/

  2. Sounds like Raffensperger may be trying to cover up wrongdoing in the 2020 election. Whatever the findings of the investigation by this man should be made public. I suspect if the investigation results did not show wrongdoing to a degree that would support the allegation of a stolen election it would be reported.

  3. Simple fix. If Raffensperger or any state refuses to update the machines, don’t count their votes. And along those lines. If a state has more votes than there are registered voters. They have two choices. Re-do the vote on paper only or their votes won’t count- period!

    1. raffensperfer;s statement that there is not enough time to update SW is extremely Bogus. It takes about 5 minutes to update SW via a Port on the machine. Further i think that federal regulations for federal elections require an accuracy of less than 1% error. I suspect that election night in 2020 it can be demonstrated it was probably over 10%. The theory that he is stonewalling because he hates trump is pretty weak, if they can find payola it would be much stronger.

  4. It’s about time! We need to go back to paper ballots, same day reporting of results, VOTER ID , NO DROP BOXES NO VOTER HARVESTING OR LONG EXTENSIONS FOR MAIL INS . ALSO CLEAN VOTER ROLLS MUST CORRELATE WITH VOTES CASTED. Judicial Watch has verified well over 100,000 cases of dead people voting, people who’ve moved voting out of their last state, etc. Mail in ballots are ripe for fraud and only truly disabled persons (verified by their Dr.should be eligible). CLOSE bi party MONITORING AT POLLING PLACES SHOULD BE MANDATORY and Non citizens ( especially illegals ) should be prohibited from voting in local, state and national elections. Ballot harvesting should be carefully monitored by non party observers.
If France can do it we certainly can!
    Thank you!

  5. GET RID OF THOSE MACHINE. WHY SPEND MORE MONEY FOR THE MACHINE THAT DOESN’T WORK. DEMORATS LIKE TO
    CHEAT BIG TIME.

  6. Obviously, the secretary of state of Georgia is crooked. He knows the election was fixed. He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And how can we possibly allow illegal aliens vote in our country, it’s unimaginable! God bless America.

  7. Behind-the scenes politics doesn’t focus as much on money as it does on favors. However an investigation should be launched on any overseas accounts that RAFFENSPERGER or his family might have. The old addage of “follow the money” has proven itself to be a great investigative tool. Perhaps he asked the Bidens for advice! The ruling from the 11th Circuit of Appeals should be taken to a higher court to get Raffensperger to testify. This Georgia case has red flags all over it. Citizens deserve the right to fair and accurate elections. Keep pushng the issue or the Dems will circumnavigate around the rules once again.

    1. Not America self destructing; destruction in virtually all areas by DEMOCRATS, RINOS, DEEP STATE. Truly evil, sick people who can’t figure out the damage they are doing will at some point harm them, top.

We need to get Raffensberger out of office. Covering up 2020 election fraud and ALSO the January Georgia Special Election fraud that gave the Senate MAJORITY to the Dems.

  8. Earn $280 an hour. Hiring is not a simple process. Either way, there are many of tools available to assist you in with your work style. Get inspired to advertise hundreds of positions on employment vc02 portals and job boards.

  9. If computers are so great, tell me why the counting of votes needed to resume in the morning?!? Never in history has counting resumed in the morning . . . until the 2020 Presidential Election . . . and then again for the terrible Georgia mid-term election. Throughout history, the polls closed at or around 7:00 PM, giving working people an opportunity to vote, and then, we knew our new president by 11:00 PM.

  10. Haven’t the people of Georgia figured out yet that Raffensperger is a piece of crap. He lied lied about what happened in 2020, Isaw enough of it on my computer. Oh yeah, what about the ballots that were taken from a storage unit in Jan of 2021 to the sheriff’s office and shredded. they did this for 2 days and we have never heard a word about what year the ballots were from. This happened in Fulton Co. and I watch it for quite awhile on Sunday morning.
