Keith Olbermann, an extreme leftist pundit, called for President Donald Trump to be “removed and arrested” as the Trump campaign moved forward with a handful of lawsuits contesting ballot counting in several battleground states.
“TRUMP MUST BE REMOVED AND ARRESTED, TONIGHT,” Olbermann wrote on Twitter. “Gripped by a paranoid delusion, threatening the nation’s safety, this can’t wait any longer.”
Olbermann, like other progressives in the media, is of the belief that routine legal challenges to tight election results are indicative of a fascist dictatorship. But, this isn’t the first time the pundit-turned-sportscaster-turned-pundit-again has issued such an extreme call.
The former MSNBC anchor also called for Trump to be arrested last Tuesday over a video of him talking about Joe Biden during a campaign rally in Michigan, at which Trump’s critics claimed he called for Biden’s assassination.
But as usual, the fake news took Trump’s words out of context to make it sound like something that fits their agenda. Here are a few of the lies that were told about the president’s words.
“Arrest this man for threatening Biden,” Olbermann said.
“Damn. Trump is talking about Biden being assassinated weeks into his presidency. What nut is going to interpret this as an encouragement?” said David Corn of MSNBC news.
Shannon Watts, a known gun control activist, said, “Donald Trump waxing poetic about Joe Biden’s murder if he’s elected: ‘Three weeks and Joe’s shot. Let’s go Kamala.’ Police wouldn’t tolerate this kind of threat from a citizen. They shouldn’t tolerate it from the President.”
The anti-Trump organization The Lincoln Project also criticized the president. “Trump is calling for the assassination of his political opponent,” they announced.
The farce began with “journalist” Andrew Feinberg, who first changed Trump’s words from their true meaning to make it seem that Trump was advocating a threat against Biden.
Feinberg posted the video, which received nearly 4 million views by last Tuesday afternoon. Ironically, it was not even on the radar to be censored by Twitter, even though the video and words on the post were bold face lies which totally distorted the president’s words, making the video appear completely different than what Trump really meant.
This is what Trump really said to the crowd at the rally, about 12 minutes after the speech began.
“Joe Biden, Kamala, do you like Kamala? Do you like her to be your vice president? I don’t know. If he gets elected, three weeks into his presidency, they’ll say, ‘Kamala, you’re ready? Let’s go.’ That’s why they’re talking about the… That’s why they’re talking about the 25th Amendment, right? Three weeks. Three weeks in, Joe’s shot, ‘Let’s go Kamala, are you get ready?’ Most liberal person in the Senate. She makes Bernie Sanders look like a serious conservative. This will not be — we can’t let it happen. This will not be the first woman president. You can have a woman president, but this will not be the first woman president.”
This real transcript of Trump’s remarks makes it obviously clear that he was not talking about Joe Biden being assassinated, but rather that electing Joe Biden as president could very easily be the way Harris becomes president. The president’s mentioning of the 25th Amendment, which outlines the presidential line of succession and transfer of power.
His use of the word “shot” was obviously being used as an adjective meaning “tired,” “weary,” or “destroyed,” which any American is familiar with, which means that he would be unable to function properly.
President Trump did not threaten Biden as his critics claimed. Fake news, folks.

She was hoping Trump, because of his age and weight would succumb to the Covid 19 virus then Pence would become the president although they didn’t want that either.
