Democrats make or break elections by fooling voters with identity politics that rely on inflaming racial and gender differences. Although the left may hold a slim majority in the House, five GOP women and President Donald Trump may have derailed their strategy.
“Tonight, House Democrats are poised to further strengthen our majority – the biggest, most diverse, most dynamic, women-led House majority in history,” Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi reportedly said.
But five newly-elected GOP Congresswomen demonstrate that voters see past the apparent differences and support smart policy and family values. What makes the recent congressional wins even more problematic for Speaker Pelosi is the fact these Republicans ousted incumbent Democrats.
Unlike the presidential race that was too close to call just after the polls closed, the GOP women seemingly cruised to victory. Businesswoman Nancy Mace beat South Carolina Rep. Joe Cunningham, State Sen. Stephanie Bice ousted Oklahoma Rep. Kendra Horn, businesswoman Yvette Herrell supplanted New Mexico Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, and former Minnesota Senate president Michelle Fischbach proved victorious over left-wing stalwart Rep. Collin Peterson. The Congressman held Minnesota’s 7th District Seat for nearly 30 years.
And while that raised eyebrows among political experts, ex-TV reporter Maria Elvira Salazar stunned Rep. Donna Shalala in South Florida. Many Democrats firmly believed the Miami-Dade area was a haven, and that Joe Biden would win as well. Much of that false sense of security stems from identity politics narratives distributed by the fake news media.
“I will not be silenced,” Salazar said. “I will not cower to the mob and when faced with the so-called democratic socialists. I will tell them that we have seen the dogma in action already, and it doesn’t work.”
What Democrat leadership doesn’t want to admit about conservative women such as newly-minted Congresswoman Salazar is that the GOP enjoys a diversity that mirrors the country’s demographics. Congresswoman-elect Salazar is the bilingual daughter of Cuban exiles living in Miami. She worked on the Spanish-language network Telemundo and, believe it or not — CNN Español, among others.
Salazar’s presence in Congress represents the precise opposite values of the Democrats that want higher taxes and the very socialism that resulted in widespread poverty in Cuba and Venezuela. Beyond the obvious potentially disastrous impact of left-leaning policies, Democrats did not anticipate that President Donald Trump would rally an increased number of Black and Latinos to the party.
Early exit polls point to President Trump gaining support among Black men and women by 4 percent over 2016, and Latinos by 3 percent across the board. According to reports, votes from White women improved by 2 percent, and various minority groups increased their support by 5 percent. These figures do not necessarily account for conservatives who won’t speak to pollsters and establishment media outlets out of mistrust. In all likelihood, the president pulled more diverse support than the numbers reflect.
So, why do wins by GOP women and the president’s coalition-building present a clear and present danger for Democrats going forward? The answer is quite simple if you step back and consider the GOP from where it was before President Trump remade it. The Republican Party is now a diverse reflection of working Americans who want opportunity, not socialist handouts. Those five women proved that identity politics tricks didn’t work, and they won’t work in the next election.
GOP, needs to be much more AGRESiVE about SUPPORTING THEIR BASE, President Trump, has made his RALLIES FOR AMERICA EXTRA STRONG, while more REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES, were WORRIED ABOUT BEING “POLITICALLY CORRECT “, which is not good in this MODERN ATMOSPHERE!. FOLLOW THE PRESIDENT, & VICTORY WILL FOLLOW.

I can truly say, without hesitation our President is a “Bad-Go-Getter” & and a “Bad Mam-a-Jammer! He is a breath of fresh air, I realized his strength when God directed my attention toward this trooper back in 2015. He gets the job done, I battle in prayer for his staying tenacity for America and for the people (Me). I totally agree with Don Phillip Johnson. The days of splitting tickets is gone. People vote their ideology these days, one way or the other. How can Biden win the presidency when no Republican lost a house seat. The dems did not take back the Senate as they proclaimed they would. Who would vote for a Republican member of the house and then vote for Biden? Democrats do not think like that.

God bless those who recognize the sovereignty of God in the affairs of men. If you are a praying person the battle is not over yet. Pray that the “corruption” is exposed and PUNISHED. Pray that God’s will will be done (it always is!) and put in place the candidate whose platform is more closely aligned to the will of God.

Great progress, 38% of House Dems are women and 4% of Republicans. In the Senate it’s 36% Dems & 15% Republicans. Considering that 51% of Americans are women I guess both parties need to improve but Dems are way ahead on these numbers.
Everyone looks at percentages and numbers, I look at substance. 38% Dem women who are marginal or elected to promote liberalism or radical agendas versus 4-15% Republican women who are smart, savvy, and pro-liberty. We need to promote MORE of these exceptional individuals.
