NOT SO FAST: DeSantis Warns Of Democrats’ Sinister Plans For COVID-19 Following Midterms.

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis delivered a grim warning about what exactly the Democrats might be planning to do following November’s midterm elections.

The governor cautioned that leftist leaders across the country may look to reimpose COVID-19 restrictions after having finally lifted them just in time to save face with fed up voters who they fear will vote against their tyrannical mandates.

“The minute those elections are over, they will impose mandates if they feel the need to do that. They will impose restrictions,” DeSantis said.

And so that will happen. If those types of people are allowed to be put in power, my view on that is, they’ve put Fauci in the witness protection program because he will say, you know, no, you should still wear a mask, and he’s never going to say be normal, go back to normal. So they know that, and they know that that’s not what people want,” DeSantis added.

DeSantis predicted that we will see a wave of restrictions slapped on residents of blue states in the winter of 2022.

“There’s nothing wrong if on an individual basis you make a certain calculation. That’s fine. We encourage you to do that. But it’s wrong to mandate people and restrict people, and that will happen. I guarantee you, winter of 2022, any of those folks that are there, you are going to see that happen,” he continued.

“The only way to make sure it doesn’t happen is to have nice, big, red wave. So, we’ll see,” he added.

These comments come after the Florida Governor declared an end to the pandemic charade in his state, saying, “There is no place in Florida for COVID theater.”

Over the past two years, the data has shown us what works and what doesn’t work. It is long past time to stop the COVID Theater,” DeSantis affirmed.

In Florida, we told the truth, we let the data drive our response, and we let Floridians make decisions for themselves and their children. As a result, Florida is in a better spot than states who used fear mongering and mandates,” he added.

According to a recent poll, most Americans agree with DeSantis’ assessment that the restrictions have become little more than part of a political chess match.

The poll revealed that Americans feel the reason restrictions have suddenly been lifted is strictly political.

65 percent of those surveyed agree that politics — not some changing science as Democrat leaders would have you believe — is driving the decisions to lift restrictions. This sentiment is shared across the ideological spectrum by Democrats (58 percent), Republicans (75 percent), and independents (65 percent).

Sometimes I hear the phrase, the science changed. The science hasn’t changed. What’s changed is that there’s an election coming, and Democrats have seen the polling on this question,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said during a speech last month.

Over the past month, blue state leaders have moved to lift the remaining restrictions in their states, removing statewide mask mandates and in some cases, unmasking school children as well. Hawaii marked the final state in the nation to announce the end of its statewide mask requirement.

However, Hawaii’s Democrat Gov. David Ige made it clear that he will be “ready to reinstitute the mask policy if COVID case numbers surge.”
