The Trump “hush money” trial in New York City is at its core a persecution of President Trump set up by the Biden regime and this is cold hard proof of that for any of the few remaining skeptics.
One of the top prosecutors on the case is Matthew Colangelo but as it turns out, just a few years back Colangelo was on the DNC’s payroll!
In 2018 Colangelo was paid thousands of dollars for “political consulting” (meaning it was likely a bribe) by the Democratic National Committee.
DNC Services Corp/Democratic National Committee paid Colangelo twice on Jan. 31, 2018. Colangelo was given two payments of $6,000, for a total of $12,000, according to Federal Election Commission records.
This small sum, combined with an obvious hatred for Trump was enough to get him to do the Democratic party’s bidding in targeting the former, and future president with a sham trial.
After these payments, Colangelo would join Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office in 2022 to replace prosecutors Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne who were investigating Trump and resigned in protest of Bragg’s initial unwillingness to indict the former president.
It’s also worth noting that Colangelo came over to the DA’s office directly from a high-ranking position at the Biden Justice Department – meaning he took a step back in his career to join the team where he would ultimately have a better chance of bringing down Trump the way he always dreamed of.
Eventually in April 2023 Colangelo and Bragg would bring charges against the former president.
However, Colangelo was working to bring down Trump even before he teamed with Bragg.
In June 2018, just a few months after receiving his payments from the DNC, Colangelo filed a lawsuit against the Trump foundation on behalf of the New York Attorney General’s office, where he was working at the time.
The lawsuit claimed that Trump used the foundation’s charitable assets to pay off his legal obligations. The Trump Foundation ultimately agreed to dissolve in December 2018.
Then on the very first day of the Biden DOJ he was rewarded for his anti-Trump actions, hired by Joe as the acting associate attorney general in the DOJ.
Obviously this is the most blatant politicization of our legal system that we have EVER seen in America.
Colangelo is a Democrat operative through and through, having taken money in exchange for going after Trump, or as the left calls it “political consulting.”
Beyond the money, he was seemingly granted the ability to jump from position to position in a way that would allow him to target Donald Trump with RELENTLESS legal attacks.
Trump adviser Steve Bannon summed it up best while exposing that this is all really just a disgusting Democrat effort to interfere in the 2024 election – and they’re getting away with it.
“WHERE IS THE CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY INVESTIGATION? Colangelo was a paid political consultant to go after Trump with the NY AG during Trump’s term. Colangelo’s a hit man arguing the case today in NY and threatening Trump with a gag order,” Bannon said.

The DA also had someone from the U.S. government, that was sent to her office and was not on her payroll, but was being paid by our federal government. Now Biden and his administration have even gone as far as to use taxpayer funds to pay these people to come here and live and to vote for the democratic candidates.
