President Donald J. Trump’s Unprecedented Trial in Manhattan Begins

Monday, April 15, 2024, was a sad day for America—and not just because it’s the date of the annual financial rape of the taxpayers. This was the date on which a former American president was put on trial on criminal charges, which is a first in American history.

Polls show that a clear majority of Americans believe this is political persecution and election interference and has nothing to do with the administration of justice. Jury selections began Monday, and the case is expected to last until June.

A big, fat guy serving as Manhattan District Attorney named Alvin Bragg has charged President Trump with 34 felony counts related to the fake Stormy Daniels ‘hush money’ payment. Bragg is seeking four years in prison for the president.

Trump spoke to reporters outside the courtroom on Monday morning:

“It’s a case that should have never been brought,” stated America’s real president. “It’s an assault on America. And that’s why I’m very proud to be here. This is an assault on our country. It’s a country that’s run by an incompetent man who is very much involved in this case. This is really an attack on a political opponent. That’s all it is. So, I’m very honored to be here.”

Let’s set aside everything that we know about this case for a moment and pretend that it’s real.

This is a paperwork case. Alvin Bragg is arguing that the Trump Organization logged some paperwork incorrectly in its business records. That was when the Trump Organization paid back Michael Cohen $130,000 in 2017—after Trump had divested from the Trump Organization and had nothing to do with it. Alvin Bragg is seeking to jail President Trump because some paperwork was allegedly filed incorrectly.

Keep in mind that ‘hush money’ payments are actually legal. They might appear unseemly to many people, but it’s not a crime to pay someone to keep their mouth shut. Extorting a presidential candidate was the real crime that took place here.

The prosecution’s star witness is fraudster Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer and a serial perjurer and convicted felon. And as we know from a whistleblower who came forward last week, Cohen was the one who had a sexual affair with the thoroughly disgusting porn starlet Stormy Daniels (and the one who paid her off).

Federal prosecutors at the Southern District of New York (SDNY), who are known for their aggressive prosecution of conservatives, took a pass on this case years ago. Alvin Bragg’s predecessor in Manhattan, Cy Vance, had investigators spend two years looking into this case and finally decided there was no “there” there.

Vance declined to prosecute Trump because he couldn’t find a crime to charge after two years of intensive investigation carried out by rabid liberal prosecutors in New York.

When Alvin Bragg first became Manhattan’s new District Attorney, he took Vance’s two main investigators off the case because they had made zero progress over the past two years. They pitched a fit and resigned, but even Alvin Bragg realized that there was no case here—not even a paperwork one.

But then something curious happened. Alvin Bragg met with aides from the Biden White House on March 17, 2023. Just 18 days later, on April 4, 2023, Bragg suddenly indicted President Trump on 34 counts of criminal paperwork violations. That also, not coincidentally, was the date when former Biden aide Kathy Chung testified before Congress about Joe Biden’s penchant for hoarding stolen classified documents.

The most aggressive prosecutors on the planet tried for seven years to find a crime they could charge Trump with. They failed. But when the Biden White House told Alvin Bragg to be a good little doggie and indict Joe Biden’s political opponent, Alvin Bragg obeyed, and it was suddenly a case.

Almost all defendants in New York who are convicted of similar crimes are given fines and probation. But when it’s Donald Trump on trial, they want to put him in prison for four years. Even though Stormy Daniels has now admitted on three different occasions that the affair with Donald Trump never happened—she even said it twice under oath—Trump is likely to be convicted by a Manhattan jury of all Trump-hating Democrats.

It’s truly a sad day for America.
