Whether you are an old-schooler that favors the Stanley Kubrick “Spartacus” movie starring Kirk Douglas, or the edgy TV series, one National Review headline says it all after Sen. Cory Booker embarrassed himself: “None of You Idiots Is Spartacus.”
In what has evolved into one of the greatest comic performances ever witnessed on stage, TV or the Senate floor, the New Jersey Democrat turned himself into a national laughing stock. Booker, a 2020 presidential nominee hopeful, garnered the spotlight as he claimed to be releasing confidential and damaging information about U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. So incredible was this information that Sen. Booker would risk expulsion to bring it to light.
Despite some of the worst acting skills in America, Booker was trying to pull a fast one on the American public. The emails had been declassified just hours before the confirmation hearing. He was never in jeopardy of being tossed from the U.S. Senate as he claimed.
“This is about the closest I’ll probably ever have in my life to an ‘I am Spartacus’ moment,” Booker said.
Obviously, Sen. Booker has zero grasp of Roman history, because he is no Spartacus. The legendary slave led a revolt against the ancient republic. The ‘I am Spartacus’ moment in the major motion picture starring Kirk Douglas comes in defeat. He is about to be crucified, and his comrades also profess “I am Spartacus’ in allegiance.
Um, Cory…no one is coming to your aid saying, “I am Booker,” except maybe the fake news media.
But if Sen. Booker, Democrats and the biased media want to play make-believe Spartacus, consider why “None of You Idiots IS Spartacus.”
Sen. Corey Booker Is No Spartacus
Engaging in character assassination against Judge Kavanaugh ranks among the lowest forms of political bias. The eminently qualified judge has risen through the judicial ranks based on his clear-headed and impartial decisions.
Outside the courtroom, Kavanaugh is a devoted father who coaches in his daughters’ basketball league, volunteers serving meals at a homeless shelter and remains a lifelong practicing Catholic. Attempts to smear such an upstanding American tells everyday people all they need to know about the liberal Democrat.
“I’m here to call on folks to understand that in a moral moment, there is no neutral. In a moral moment, there is [sic] no bystanders,” Booker reportedly said. “You are either complicit in the evil, you are either contributing to the wrong, or you are fighting against it.”
Throwing dirt at a good man because you are on different sides of the political aisle does not make Booker a hero, it makes him a villain as well as a charlatan. These days, he ranks right up there with Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren.
Sen. Kamala Harris is No Spartacus
While the California senator may not engage in the sheer buffoonery of her Democrat colleague, Sen. Harris has certainly lowered her integrity standards to draw presidential nominee attention.
In the run-up to the Kavanaugh hearing, Sen. Harris stooped so low as to release a strategically edited clip of the judge to demean his character. The video makes it look as if the judge believes that birth control is somehow an “abortion-inducing” agent.
“Here is Kavanaugh’s full answer,” Sen. Harris tweeted. “There’s no question that he uncritically used the term “abortion-inducing drugs,” which is a dog whistle term used by extreme anti-choice groups to describe birth control.
But after the full video surfaced, Harris was roundly discredited. Well, except by the complicit fake news media and fact-checkers who are taking a Mulligan. Her attempts to double-down on the falsehood make her appear nearly as ridiculous as Booker. Spartacus, by contrast, stood on unwavering principle. Sen. Harris’ integrity is for sale to anyone who will back her presidential bid. Senator, you are no Spartacus either.
Bernie Sanders Lost Like Spartacus
Widely known as “Crazy Bernie” for his radical adherence to socialism, the Vermont senator may be the closest thing America has to a modern-day Spartacus.
Standing on principle, Sen. Sanders waged an insurgent campaign against a DNC that had been corrupted by the Clintons. Urged to end his struggle for what he believes to be morally correct, Sanders took his integrity all the way to the Democratic National Convention.
Like Spartacus that fought to the sea, the liberal powers overwhelmed him. His righteous campaign ended in defeat, much like Spartacus and his slave army did to the Romans. Say what you like about Crazy Bernie and his unsustainable policy ideas, but at least the man stands his ground.
Thankfully, the country doesn’t need top Democrats and their Spartacus stupidity. The country has a forceful president who is Making America Great Again.

It is interesting that the democrat created the term for passing jurors with out the 60% majority, nuclear option by Harry Reed. Now that it was passed and the democrats expected to gain control of all 3 branches in the 2016 election, they find themselves the victims of their own doing. They are absolutely horrified that we may get supreme Justices that will follow the constitution and follow the law, and not re-write the law as they go, as has been the case for too long. Obama Care was unconstitutional, no ifs about it, and One Justice on the Supreme court wrote exactly how it should have been viewed, but he was the descending judge and made the clear opinion that the others were re-writing constitutional law, rather then follow the law. Many of the liberal judges re-write the law, rather then follow it, because they think that the constitution should be adapting to modern times. The reason they will do anything to thwart the will of the people, is because they think they are better then the rest of us, and belong to an elite status. JUST LIKE THOSE FROM HOLLYWOOD. It is so terrible that civics and history are being forgotten in public schools, and because of the failures in secondary education, we are in a fight that general Americans whom recall what freedom is about, is being assaulted and targeted by the socialist ( communist) party of America which has clearly become the DEMOCRAT party of late. I do recall the beginning of this very clearly, when I was a union member and the Government passed a law that made all people pay union dues, even if we did not want to follow their direction.
