President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Democrat-led cities were like “war zones,” and hinted that federal intervention could be coming soon.
During a briefing from the Justice Department about how hard law enforcement agencies’ have worked to “dismantle, defeat and destroy” MS-13 in the U.S., the president said that the “left-wing group of people that are running cities are not doing the job they’re supposed to be doing.”
He went on to say, “It’s not a very tough job to do, if they knew what they were doing, so we’ll be talking about that next week,” Trump said. “We’ll probably have an announcement as to what we’re planning to do to help them.”
“They’re supposed to be asking for help and they don’t want to ask, so maybe they’re proud or maybe they think it’s bad politically, but we can’t have happen what’s happening,” the president added. “We’re going to straighten things out.”
When Trump was asked what information he could share about how they would “straighten things out”, he only said he would share “in great detail” next week, but said it is “something that I think, at this point, the American people want to see.”
Trump went on to say that the cities were not being managed very well at all.
“They’ve been run very poorly,” Trump continued, mentioning Seattle and Minneapolis. “We had the National Guard go in and as soon as they did that, we straightened that mess out. They should have been able to do locally with their police. The police are good. They were told not to do anything.”
The president then brought up the other cities in the U.S. that are having major issues.
“We have other cities that are out of control. They are like war zones,” he said. “And if the cities are not going to straighten out, or local politicians … they’re all Democrats. They’re all liberal, left-wing Democrats. And it’s almost like they think it is going to be this way forever. We’re not going to put up with it.”
President trump criticized “radical left-wing politicians” who he said, “have fought for open borders and welfare for illegal aliens. My administration has fought for safe streets. We want security for our people. We want the rule of law. We want law and order.”
During his presidency, Trump and Attorney General Bill Barr created “Joint Task Force Vulcan” to assist the Justice Department and U.S. law enforcement agencies in destroying MS-13. This task force was able to be created due to an executive order by Trump in 2017 to direct a “whole-of-government” approach to dismantle transnational criminal organizations and “restore safety in American communities.”
Trump had a meeting Wednesday with his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, White House counsel Pat Cipollone, Attorney General William Barr, acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Matthew Albence. In addition, there were several U.S. attorneys from Nevada, New York and Virginia. Also, in attendance were the director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons Michael Carvajal, as well as director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Regina Lombardo.
Looks like the beginning of a new task force to put an end to the destruction of America.

People in these cities need to grow a pair of balls and stand together to make sure these types of problems never again a rise! Therein lies the bulk of the problem. When one talks about Socialism and Communism, the vast majority don’t seem to have a clue what those ideologies entail. When I went to college I studied them in Social Sciences but I am willing to bet they don’t cover that anymore or at least in a truthful light. “Socialism is where everyone takes care of everyone else. Socialism is where the government takes care of all your problems.” The best teacher with proof today is to look at Argentina. Talk to people who lived there and find out how they liked it.
