Violent, leftist, and anarchist Antifa is at it again. The Autonomous Student Network, an Antifa student organization, recently threatened to publicly release the personal information of any students who dare to join conservative clubs at the University of Texas at Austin.
According to TheBlaze, on June 6, 2019, an account linked to the Autonomous Student Network tweeted, “Hey #UT23! Do you wanna be famous? If you join YCT [the Young Conservatives of Texas] or Turning Point USA, you just might be. Your name and more could end up on an article…So be sure to make smart choices at #UTOreientation.”
But, the brazen group didn’t stop here. In another tweet, the hate-filled organization requested students to report their fellow classmates who attempt to join conservative clubs. The second tweet read, “The best #LonghornStateOfMind is an antifascist one. If you begin to spot the young racists trying to join YCT or TPUSA, send us a tip so we can keep our reports up to date #UT23. Also, if you’re an antifascist/anarchist/autonomy inclined Longhorn, reach out & let’s link up!”
TheBlaze reported that “Links in the tweets lead to a page which lists photos, personal emails, phone numbers, and employers of several students at the University of Texas at Austin who were involved in either the YCT or TPUSA.”
In one instance, the organization revealed the Chick-fil-A location where one young woman was employed. Spitefully, the group also included a number so supporters of the Antifa group could “[c]all Chick-Fil-A[SIC] to get her fired.” To protect her privacy, TheBlaze didn’t identify the woman’s personal information. However, the Autonomous Student Network apparently thought that her being a “[m]ember of the YCT who was present at a pro-Kavanaugh demonstration” was enough to warrant doxxing.
Reportedly, a principle account for the Autonomous Student Network is currently suspended from Twitter. Fox News noted that this identical account’s privileges were also taken away when the group attempted to doxx supporters of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation process. A spokesperson for UT Austin informed Campus Reform that the university believes “students should never be targeted or face harassment for their affiliations, political beliefs or any other reason.” The spokesperson also revealed that the Autonomous Student Network was “not affiliated with the university” and “not a registered student group.”
This definitely wasn’t the first time Antifa has made public the personal information of those who happen to hold opposing views from them. According to The New American, Antifa recently listed the home addresses of Stephen Miller, a White House aide, and Tucker Carlson, host of Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” on posters displayed around Washington D.C. On June 23, 2019, Human Events, HE, also reported that the extremist organization had also doxxed Gavin McInnes, the founder of the Proud Boys and the plaintiff in a lawsuit against the Southern Poverty Law Center, and Jack Posobiec, a host on One America News Network. According to The New American, “Federal law enforcement says Antifa is a domestic terror group. Cops around the country have repeatedly arrested its members for violent attacks on Trump supporters and anyone else it views as an enemy.”
To doxx the well-known conservatives, Antifa utilized the hashtag #AllOutDC. Twitter suspended the organization for violating rules. The poster of Carlson depicted his face “blocked out by the AntiFa three-arrow symbol, his home address, the words ‘Block the Alt-Right,’ and a description of Carlson as an ‘Influencer.’” The poster read, “Racist with a huge following and platform, uses it to promote racist dogwhistles.”
Besides Carlson, Miller’s home address was also revealed. The New American reported that “Miller is hated because he strongly opposes mass immigration and the displacement of the American people by millions of illiterate, impoverished ‘migrants’ from the Third World.” The media outlet also contended that “some on the radical Left, including the shady Islamist Representative Ilhan Omar, have called the Jewish Miller a ‘white nationalist.’” Allegedly, the posters of McInnes and Posobiec included “stenciled graffiti of U.S. representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar.”
The extreme left will seemingly stop at nothing to silence their critics. If conservative Americans don’t take a stand against their hateful, dangerous actions, the next generation will likely have a distorted, disturbing view of reality. The time to put a stop to this anarchist nonsense is now.
