Seattle’s “CHAZ” (or CHOP, or whatever) has inspired some copycats — most notably in the Big Apple this week. Unfortunately for them, lawless protesters in New York City had a very different experience when they too decided to build a “wall” around city blocks.
As you’ll see in the video clip below, police easily dispatched with the “border” before swarming in and taking control of the situation. New York has its political problems to be sure, but there’s one thing we can say with confidence after watching this — New York is not Seattle.
This is downright hilarious for several reasons. To get the most obvious out of the way, it’s very clear that the movement behind this is comprised mainly of keyboard warriors who have never tasted dirt before in their lives. So, the confrontations with trained police officers end very predictably.
Second — remember when the left argued that walls don’t work? Or, better yet — remember when they said that walls were inherently immoral because they exclude other people? Good times.
We’re starting to understand where they’re coming from on that first point. Perhaps when they say “walls don’t work” it’s because the ones they build definitely do not. So, points for honesty? Maybe?
Either way, it’s good to see police officers finally take situations like this seriously. If this trend of unchecked rioting, looting, and outright insurrection continues, it’s going to prolong every other problem the country is facing right now. Large crowds of people are going to spread the virus, which will then be blamed on Florida for allowing restaurants to partially re-open. It’s also going to prompt conflict with law enforcement, which will then be blamed on racism — even when black American cops are the ones on the frontlines.
Another thing we need to stress — President Donald Trump should be on top of this. What we’re seeing right now is lawlessness and anarchy spreading to every major city. This is not a good look for a “law and order” president. Trump has an incredible opportunity to show his supporters that he is still in control. The upcoming election — and the future of America itself — depends on his response.

You’ve got to remember that POTUS Trump can only do so much WITHOUT going outside the U.S. Constitution, which he won’t do . . . Remember, he is a “Law and Order” President, and going outside the Constitution represents LAWLESSNESS. What he has used LEGALLY at his disposal was performed FLAWLESSLY. When will it be called out for what is is? BLM politics and violence aside, the young people are just on an extended spring break. The Act specifically applies only to the United States Army and, as amended in 1956, the United States Air Force. Although the Act does not explicitly mention the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps, the Department of the Navy has prescribed regulations that are generally construed to give the Act force with respect to those services as well. The Act does not prevent the Army National Guard or the Air National Guard under state authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within its home state or in an adjacent state if invited by that state’s governor. The United States Coast Guard (under the Department of Homeland Security) and United States Space Force (under the Department of the Air Force) are not covered by the Act either, primarily because although both are armed services, they also have maritime and space law enforcement missions respectively.
The title of the Act comes from the legal concept of posse comitatus, the authority under which a county sheriff, or other law officer, can conscript any able-bodied person to assist in keeping the peace.

At this point, instead of the NYPD, I think it is time to send in the FDNY on fire trucks and blast these androgenous, rubber band armed anorexics with super soaker fire hoses. First of all, there is no way the City of NY will defund the FDNY, because fires also happen in the best of neighborhoods, right elites. And secondly, I suspect this will the first shower these creatures have had in a long time. Back up weapons – fire axes. True story. Back in the ’60’s my cousins husband was a rookie NYPD cop walking a beat up in Spanish Harlem. He suddenly had a mob of knife wielding, Spanish speaking males surround him. Back then NYPD cops carried .38s with 6 bullets. The mob knew he only had six shots with a revolver. All of a sudden he heard a booming English speaking voice saying “Need any help officer?” . Lo and behold, there was an FDNY firehouse right there and out came an entire house of firefighters carrying their fire axes. Those same punks who weren’t afraid of the lone gun scattered like roaches when they knew they would be hacked by axes against their knives, especially since the firefighters had 50- 100 lbs on each of them. I am married to a retired NYPD cop, but ya gotta love them firefighters.
