If you’ve been self-loathing enough to actually watch all of the Democratic presidential debates, you may have noticed a subtle change in the rhetoric employed by a certain “democratic” socialist.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, a populist phenomenon with leftist Americans, distinguished himself in his first White House run in 2016 by constantly evoking the “millionaires and billionaires” that are supposedly responsible for all of the suffering in the world. In 2020, that phrase has been shortened to “the billionaire class.”
So, what changed? That’s simple: Sanders made a lot of money selling books about how making money is evil, and he became a millionaire himself. That’s right: capitalism is so effective in generating wealth, that even useless communists can’t get enough of it sometimes.
As former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg recently pointed out, the most famous socialist in the country is a millionaire with three houses. But the senator isn’t the only progressive who can’t stop living the right-wing capitalist fantasy. Cenk Uygur, a pundit running for Congress who also runs the popular leftist YouTube channel known as The Young Turks, recently clashed with his own employees for attempting to unionize. Whatever happened to “workers of the world unite”?
Now, does this mean that the people who call themselves progressives are secretly far-right libertarians? Of course not. And let’s be clear: ideological hypocrisy is a bi-partisan trait. But consider this: a capitalist society allows socialists to live they way they wish. If a bunch of Bernie bros want to purchase a warehouse and practice all of that “communal living” they seem to love so much, they are free to do so. Capitalists would not have the same privilege in a socialist country. So, this hypocrisy matters.

If mr. Sander wishes Medicare for all, he had to distribute his money(he is millionaire)
among the poor in USA, so that they would pay for health expenses.
