Woman Released From Prison By Trump Pens Eye-Opening Article

Earlier this year, the life of Alice Johnson changed forever, and Johnson told her story in an article published on FoxNews.com this week.

In the article, Johnson said:

“On June 6, I walked out of prison as a free woman after serving almost 22 years of my life sentence on a first-time nonviolent drug conviction, thanks to a decision by President Trump to commute my sentence to time served. I was thrilled to hear the president say this week that he is looking to give early release to additional nonviolent prisoners like me.”

The president responded in a way only Trump can.

“Alice Johnson is such a great person, such a great case,” he said. “I’d like to find a lot of people like Alice Johnson. And there are a lot of people that are in a situation like that. And we are actively looking for those situations. I’ve been watching her a lot and what a great spokesman she is for that situation. And that’s covering a lot of people. There are a lot of people like that, that will unfortunately be locked up for many, many years, and there’s no reason for it.”

Johnson is, needless to say, appreciative of what Trump has done for her.

“I can never thank the president enough,” she continued in the article. “He heard my voice, gave life to my hope and promise to my future. I am a 63-year-old grandmother who just wants to live in peace and enjoy my family. There is zero chance I will ever break the law again.”

And this is a great point:

“Freeing these offenders early would be an act of justice and mercy, as granting me my freedom was. And early release would save taxpayers the cost of feeding and housing these people for years after they have paid their debt to society.”

It’s eye-opening to discover what happened during the Obama years:

“But during my two decades in prison, I accomplished an extraordinary rehabilitation – writing plays, volunteering in the prison hospice, becoming an ordained minister and mentoring to young women in prison. By 2016 I was a new woman living a new life…

“As his presidency came to a close, President Obama began releasing hundreds of other nonviolent offenders, and I became sure I would be released as well….Unfortunately, I was left behind. President Obama left office without giving me the chance to start a new life.”

Johnson did not give up after Trump was elected. And Trump heard and responded to her.

“I did not leave prison bitter,” she went on. “I love America and believe in the inherent goodness of the American people and the possibility of redemption….I will never forget what President Trump did for me. He changed my life and gave me the opportunity to fulfill my potential…”

Let’s hope that Johnson can turn her tears into triumph and that she will make a significant contribution to society, now that she has been given a new chance at life.

  1. VOTE RED NOV 2018 RED RED…IF
it weren’t for President Obama we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set up a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today including Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation. President Obama is responsible for that. It was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place. CLAPPER’S OWN CONFESSION
AMERICANS WE HAVE TO TAKE BACK OUR AMERICA FROM THE EVIL CRIMINAL ACTS OF DEMOCRATS………………………..TO SOLVE AMERICAS PROBLEMS MAKE THIS CHOICE WE THE PEOPLE’ HAVE THE POWER OF OUR VOICES AND OUR VOTES, TO VOTE OUT THE ENTIRE LYING,CORRUPT, TREASONOUS DEMOCRAT PARTY COME NOV 2018, VOTE TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN AND TO END ALL CORRUPTIONS IN WASHINGTON GOVERNMENT

  2. President Trump is almost 100% on what he is trying to do for this great country. What he now needs to do is take 20,000 of the hardest core criminals that are sentenced to life in prison. They should be trained at a boot camp, where there are no guns. There should be a chip for tracing them put into their body somewhere. Each 20,000 men and women should be trained for special forces into the country or area that they will be going. AS they parachute out of the airplane, then you hand them an assault weapon that they will know how to shoot. Their job is to go town to town inch by inch, house by house and find every person that has a gun or ammunition and arrest them immediately. I am talking gansters or terrorists, not families that have hand guns for protection.

Lastly, they will get their orders from the commanding forces that are two to five miles plus behind them. That way the good men and women will not get harmed. Our air force, Navy Army, and Marine Special Forces and soldiers will back them up with all the armor that they need, including all food and supplies.

Drones will be flying over them at all times day and night. At the end of each day, Each one of 20 men & Women, will do an inventory of their TEAM and see if they are injured, killed or disappeared somewhere. That information will be given immediately to the commanding officers to report to our leaders. For serving, they will be released back to their families when their 10 years of duty is finished. They shall be required to serve until age 67 doing paper work when they are not in shape for warfare. From age 20-60, they are out in the battle field 48 weeks a year.

They now are veterans and will be freed to commit no more crimes. If they do, then they are executed in 24 hours.

That is a bill that Congress and the President should put in force. I understand from 10 years ago there were over 250 thousand of hard core criminals that will die in prison. What is the figure today???

    1. You cannot be serious. What you just described is EXACTLY what happened in Germany during the rise to power of the Nazi Party. Which areas in the US were you planning on sending them initially? After “cleansing” the “unwanted” or “unneeded” where would you send your “stormtroopers”? Mexico? Canada, or some other country?

  3. Your plan,Billy, is just plane scary. You want to give major weapons to people and tell them to break into houses and take guns??? How, exactly, will they decide whose guns should be confiscated? Will they break down my door looking for guns? Your total disregard for the lives of those you will arm is quit alarming. You say that the real military will be behind them so the real military will not get hurt but those you think are unworthy of living will take all the risk. So glad you are not able to institute your ideas.

  4. Career politicians have talked and promised for the last 30 to 50 years of what they were going to do and fix. In two years, President Trump has delivered on jobs economy and now this. Just what were these elected PC politicians doing all this time? One thing we know for sure for the last two years dems have done absolutely nothing other than attack President Trump 24/7 with the help of msm and nothing else. Time we vote out career politicians that do nothing.

  5. “Excessive bails shall not be required nor excessive fines imposed nor cruel and unusual punishment be inflicted.” So says the Eigth Amendment to our Constitution. It has been ignored by lawmakers for a long time and compliance by our officials is long overdue.

  6. If proper justice was rendered to the violent offenders no matter the crime there’d be plenty of room for the others.
