When Democrats staged their phony impeachment theatrics against former President Donald Trump, it was nothing more than a smear campaign that lacked the votes to remove him from office. But with the 2022 elections around the corner, Republicans could be poised to save the country from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Their high crimes include a lawless U.S.-Mexico border, refusing to prosecute Antifa rioters, and helping China achieve its endgame of world domination. The last one is unmistakably treason.
But as everyday Americans learned the hard way when Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her insurgent Democrats tore the country apart, impeachment remains a purely political mechanism. Using it regardless of whether people believe Biden and Harris committed “high crimes or misdemeanors” has become irrelevant. Republicans need to win in 2022, defend the nation from socialism, and restore leadership.
Due to Biden’s abject failure to manage what should be an unprecedented economic rebound from the pandemic, unemployment and inflation are crushing families. Recent reports from the Wall Street Journal indicate consumer price indexes rose by 4.2 percent in April. That marked the largest increase since 2008. Gasoline prices shot up 50 percent above April 2020, when Mr. Trump was handling the economy. It’s no secret that team Biden-Harris is waging a war against American energy independence and struggling families are caught in the crossfire.
After a devastating jobs report indicated more people filed for unemployment than expected Biden appeared clueless to the negative effect his policies have on everyday people.
“Today, there is more evidence our economy is moving in the right direction,” Biden reportedly said. “This is progress. This is a testament to our new strategy.”
In all fairness, the Democrat in the White House only reads off a teleprompter what his handlers write. But those same left-wing zealots who are running the White House continue to unravel the fragile Middle East peace brokered by the Trump Administration. One of Biden’s first acts was to drop bombs in Syria in a mishap that reportedly killed anti-terrorist forces operating in the region. Adding insult to injury, Biden and Harris support Iran’s aggressive research to develop a nuclear weapon while chastising Israel for destroying one of its uranium enrichment facilities.
For the first time in years, terror organizations such as ISIS and Hamas are engaged in ground warfare. Bombs are flying between Israel and Palestine while the Iranian Navy harasses U.S. vessels in the Persian Gulf.
“Israel’s adversaries knew that the United States stood strongly with Israel and there would be swift retribution if Israel was attacked. Under Biden, the world is getting more violent and more unstable because Biden’s weakness and lack of support for Israel is leading to new attacks on our allies,” Mr. Trump recently stated.
Foreign policy experts widely agree the region has turned into a hotbed of firefights and missile attacks since Biden took office. The heightened tensions come only months after Mr. Trump brought Arab nations to the table to sign the Abraham peace accords.
If the disturbing lack of leadership puzzles everyday people, consider this. Biden quit work early on the Friday the Colonial Pipeline went down, cutting gasoline supplies in half to Southeastern states. Americans deserve a commander-in-chief who takes the position seriously and puts in a full day’s work.
The 2022 elections could present a perfect opportunity to oust Biden and Harris. Republicans anticipate capturing a majority in the House, and they could shift the balance of power in the Senate as well. Under that scenario, GOP Rep. Kevin McCarthy would emerge as Speaker of the House and be third in line for the presidency. Impeaching Biden and Harris in one fell swoop, and inserting McCarthy is a matter of national self-defense.
